Hi, I'm Raveena. I have over 20 years experience in teaching children and being a mentor on their educational and creative journey. I have  developed artistic styles in contemporary and abstract work as well as industrial design and making toys. I specialise in ceramics, painting and crafts.

 

From 2006 till 2011,  I was the Director of Eastern Suburbs Gymbaroo, an activity centre for babies and  infants  which aims to improve the learning potential and health of children in a fun environment for the child. Parents learn about neurological development, the importance of activities in early childhood and its impact on their children’s achievement at school and life. 

 

I am married and am a busy mum of 3 kids and Ruby (our cavalier). When I'm not running around after them, I am volunteering for the local community, schools, brass bands, youth movements and various charities.

 

I am registered with BOSTES (Board of Studies Teaching and Educational Standards) and I am accredited to teach in any NSW government, or private school. I hold a current First Aid Certificate as well as a NSW Working with Children Check.

 

I am looking forward to facilitating art classes and getting to know you and your children.
